My classes/demos are interactive as you would like, so you will be invited to get involved and help prepare the meal by measuring, chopping, and mixing, or you can just sit back, sip some wine, and observe. My style is both fun and relaxed, and perfect for beginner cooks who would like to learn basic techniques that will allow them to cook on their own with more confidence and creativity.

Q. What is cancellation policy?
A. Don’t cancel.
Just kidding. A $100 deposit is required to hold the date for all classes. If you notify me at least five (5) days in advance that you are canceling the class altogether, your deposit will be returned in full. Classes are based on a per person fee as noted, but each class is a minimum of $500. Therefore, if you start out with eight people and wind up with three, it will still cost $500, plus applicable NY sales tax.
Q. How big are the classes?
A. Maximum number of guests/students is 10.
Q. Should I eat before demonstration?
A. No! Bring your appetite! Food will be prepared in a quantity sufficient for the number of guests to enjoy a generous meal together at the end of class.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Your favorite comfy cooking clothes.
Q. What if I have food allergies?
A. If you are attending the class and have food allergies, please contact me directly as far in advance as possible so we can talk about it, and I can make any necessary and reasonable accommodations without changing the overall purpose of the class.
Q. How long is the class?
A. Approximately 3- 4 hours depending on the class.
Q. Are children allowed?
A. Depends. Teaching children to cook requires more attention and restrictions on technique and menu. Generally, smaller groups are better, and obviously with more supervision. If you are interested in cooking classes for children, please contact me so we can talk about it. You likely need a class designed especially for you. Let’s talk about it!
